3 c of flour; sifted
1 c of sugar (brown)
3/4 c of butter (unsalted)
1 c of water (hot)
1 tsp of baking soda (Arm & Hammer)
1 c of molasses
Vinegar (few drops)

Instructions:

Cranberry Cake with Sauce Topping Recipe
Ingredients:
2 pcs of eggs (fresh)
1 c of sugar (white)
1 c of sour cream
1/4 tsp of baking soda (Arm & Hammer)
1-3/4 c of flour; sifted
1-1/2 tsp of baking powder (Calumet)
1 tsp of vanilla extract
2 c of cranberries (fresh); halved
For the Sauce:
1-1/2 c of sugar (granulated)
2 Tbsps of butter (unsalted)
2 tsps of vanilla
1 c of whip cream
Instructions:
Beat the sugar, sour cream, plus eggs in a mixing bowl. Save (2 tablespoons) of flour then combine the rest of the flour, Calumet, and soda. Add it to the mixture then add the vanilla. Mix thoroughly.
Dust the saved flour above the cranberries then mix them onto batter using a spoon. Transfer batter onto a 9×13-inch pan, buttered and slightly floured. Place inside the oven and bake for half an hour at 350 degrees F.
To make the sauce topping, combine cream, butter, and (granulated) sugar inside a saucepan above moderate heat. Let it boil for two mins while stirring frequently.
Take out from the heat and add the vanilla extract. Serve the warm topping above warm cake.

3 c of sugar (white)
1 c of vegetable oil (or canola oil)
3 pcs of eggs (large)
16 oz of pumpkin (canned)

Combine cinnamon, cloves, soda, Calumet, salt, flour, and nutmeg. Add into the pumpkin mix by two batches. Incorporate well and fold in the walnuts.
Pour the batter onto the pans equally. Bake for an hour and ten mins. Let it cool for ten mins before removing it from the pan.

For the Crust:
1-1/2 tsp of cinnamon (ground)
1/3 c of butter; melted
2 c of crackers (Graham, vanilla, gingersnap); crushed

8 ozs of cream cheese
2 tsps of cinnamon (ground)
3 Tbsps of flour; sifted
1-1/4 tsps of ginger (ground)

15 ozs of pumpkin (canned or freshly cooked)
1 Tbsp of vanilla extract
4 pcs of eggs
Instructions:
Preheat the oven at 325 degrees F. Prepare a 9-inch (springform) pan.
Mix cinnamon with the crackers in a bowl. Add the butter; mix thoroughly. Transfer onto the pan and press firmly on the base and the pan sides. Bake at about six mins till set. Set crust aside.
Combine sugars and cream cheese in a bowl; stir till it becomes smooth then add spices then sifted flour. Mix thoroughly until lumps disappear.
Add in eggs, beat them individually then stir in vanilla and pumpkin.
Pour the filling onto the crust. Bake inside the oven for an hour and a half. Allow pie to be cooled completely; cover then place inside the refrigerator overnight.

Ingredients:
9 oz of ready made pie shell or crust (Graham)
2 c of sherbet (vanilla); softened but not melted
16 oz of pumpkin
3/4 c of sugar (sugar)
1 c of whipped cream
1/2 tsp of salt (fine grains)
2 tsps of pumpkin pie spice
Instructions:
Place the sherbet on the crust and place inside the freezer till solid. Combine cream, spice, salt, and pumpkin then spread evenly over the sherbet. Place inside the freezer till solid.
Take out the pie in the freezer an hour before serving and place inside the refrigerator. Slice then top with whipped cream.

Kentucky BBQ Turkey Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients:
2/3 c of tomato catsup
2 c of grilled turkey
2/3 Tbsp of pepper (black)
2/3 tsp of salt
4 pcs burger buns; horizontally split & toasted
2/3 c of vinegar (white)
1 Tsp hot-pepper sauce
1 pc lemon; cut into 4
2/3 Tbsp of Worcestershire
Instructions:
Debone meat and slice to cubes. Afterward, in saucepan place over high-heat, mix vinegar, Worcestershire, pepper sauce, lemon, salt, pepper and catsup. Mix well, then boil.
Adjust heat, then simmer w/o cover for 30-35 mins. Fold turkey in and have it cooked for 5-7 mins ’til heated through.
Scoop a spoonful of BBQ mixture into bottom slice of hamburger buns. Cover w/ the other bun-half.

Fruit Salad with Champagne Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of kiwi (fresh); peeled then cubed (1/4-inch)
1 c of figs (fresh); peeled then cubed (1/4-inch)
1 c of grapes (fresh); halved
1 c of strawberries (fresh); halved
1 c of raspberries (fresh)
2 pcs of egg yolks
1 c of champagne
1/3 c of sugar (granulated)
Instructions:
Preheat broiler at high.
Divide all the (cut) fruits to four shallow bowls and arrange them attractively. Combine sugar and yolks inside a bowl.
Beat thoroughly till it turns into bright yellow. Gradually add Champagne while beating continuously.
Transfer egg mix on a double boiler above low heat. Continue beating till mixture is foamy and light.
Turn off heat once it begins to become thick, don’t overcook the sauce. Continue beating for ten secs.
Pour onto the fruits. Place bowls of fruit in the preheated broiler. Heat till sauce turns slightly brown. Serve at once.

Cornbread Dressing Recipe
Ingredients:
3 cups of cornmeal (self-rising)
1/4 cup of flour (all purpose)
1 Tablespoon of sugar (white)
1 teaspoon of salt
1/8 teaspoon baking soda (Arm & Hammer)
2 pieces of eggs; beaten well
3 cups of buttermilk
1 cups of celery; chopped
3/4 cups of onion; chopped
3 Tablespoons of bacon drippings
1-3/4 cups of stuffing mix (herb-seasoned)
1/2 teaspoon of rubbed sage
3 cups of turkey broth (or chicken broth)
A can of soup (cream of chicken, undiluted)
Instructions:
Combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda in a bowl; stir gently. Add the eggs and buttermilk; mix them well. Add onion and celery; stir thoroughly.
Heat the skillet with the (bacon) drippings on it. Add (1 tablespoon) drippings into the batter and mix them well.
Transfer the batter onto the heated skillet and bake for half an hour at 450 degrees F, until the bread turns slightly brown. Crumble onto a bowl then add sage and stuffing mix. Set it on the side.
Place the soup inside a saucepan then slowly add the broth while stirring continuously. Cook above moderate heat while constantly stirring till heated thoroughly.
Pour onto the crumbled mixture and stir thoroughly. Scoop onto a greased 13×9 inch (baking) dish and bake for 35-40 mins at 375 degrees F.
