Turkey Breast Braised With Garlic And Rice Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of rice (long-grained)
14-1/2 oz of chicken broth (canned)
1/2 c of wine (white)
2 tsps of parsley (dried)
1/2 tsp of rosemary (dried)
1/2 tsp of thyme (dried)
1/2 tsp of sage (dried)
1 pc of bay leaf
6 lbs of turkey breast (bone-in)
3 pcs of garlic cloves: cut the root ends
Paprika
Instructions:
Preheat the oven at (350 degrees F).
Combine wine, broth, rice, parsley, sage, bay leaf, thyme, and rosemary inside a (Dutch) oven. Place the turkey above the rice mix; sprinkle the paprika onto the turkey. Place the garlic, with cut end facing up, in the rice and around the breast of the turkey.
Cover with aluminum foil then the lid then bake for about three hours, until the meat inside the thigh reaches (170-175 degrees F). Let the turkey stand for 10-15 mins.
Carve the turkey then place the slices on a platter. Place the rice mix on a bowl and squeeze the garlic onto the rice and turkey.
